When Bruce Wayne watched the first Captain America movie he was blown away. Instant fan. That’s why he took a page out of the Captain’s book and decided to show some U.S. pride.

If this hero’s persona wasn’t a bat coming to haunt criminals’ nightmares, then he could have ended up like Bucky and teamed up with the lovable and always positive Capt., which might have softened Batman up a bit. But like star-crossed lovers, they come from two different universes, so Batman thought this might be a good compromise.
